Welcome to AC Design & Development. Take a minute to get to know us! AC Design & Development provides full architectural & interior design/decorating services for residential and commercial projects. Our interior design services are defining the space characteristics and presenting a concept, preparing of 3D renderings, selecting, and sourcing fabrics, paint colors, furniture, furnishing, artwork, and accessories. We also handle delivery coordination and installation of furniture and contractor management. AC Design & Development is recognized for our custom approach to suit the individual needs of each project and their clients.

AISHAH COLEMAN, AIBD
CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL DESIGNER
Growing up in the Bronx in the 1970s, Aishah Coleman was always struck by the number of abandoned buildings around the borough. Even at a young age, Aishah began to dream of studying Architecture to help rebuild her neighborhood. By the time she grew up and got her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, however, the Bronx had beaten her to the punch and rebuilt itself without her! Inspired, rather than defeated, by the rebirth of her neighborhood, Aishah simply cast a wider net, dedicating her career to working with companies that specialized in residential design and community development.
With over 22 years of experience in Design & Construction, Aishah has worked in both the private and public sectors, managing projects ranging from $5 million to $75 million. In 2006, Aishah opened her own part-time interior design business while she still worked full time on other projects.
As much as she loved working on the larger development projects, Aishah discovered that her true passion was working directly with people to bring the dreams they have for their homes and businesses to life. So in 2009, with her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Interior Decorating, she decided to take her interior design business full time. Her goal is to be a one-stop-shop for her clients to service all of their interior design needs. For Aishah, it’s all about seeing her clients react when they see she has made their dream a reality. “This is the most gratifying experience that you cannot put a price on.”
FRANCINE A. ALHEID, R.A.
ARCHITECT
Early in her childhood in Chicago, Francine was always fascinated by buildings and construction sites in her neighborhood. By sixth grade, she knew that architecture was the only profession she would be pursuing.

After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology, Francine continued her architectural experience and training with private and multi-family developments in Chicago.
​
Relocating to New York, she gained experience in large commercial centers, in new construction, renovation and rehabilitation of several projects in NYC and other states. She has participated in many corporate, executive, and medical interiors including programming client needs, full tenant fit-up, furniture selection, and installation.
During her affiliation with the New York City Housing Authority as Construction Project Manager, she met Aishah Coleman. They joined their architectural expertise in 2009 to better serve their clients.
Francine has always believed that “As a professional, I have always assumed responsibility, acted decisively, and taken pride in producing a finished product from inception through completion, making sure the client understands the process and is satisfied with the final product.”
